Copyright Policy

Authors who publish in Al-Qadr: Journal of Qur’anic Science (AQS) retain full copyright of their articles. By submitting and publishing in this journal, authors grant Al-Qadr the right of first publication while the work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and Al-Qadr: Journal of Qur’anic Science, a link to the license is included, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license 

Author’s Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  • Copyright ownership – Authors hold the copyright and all proprietary rights to their article.
  • Reuse rights – Authors may reuse the substance of the article in future works such as books, lectures, or teaching materials.
  • Reproduction rights – Authors may reproduce the article for personal or academic purposes, provided that the copies are not offered for sale.
  • Archiving rights – Authors may deposit or self-archive the published version in institutional or personal repositories, with acknowledgment of its initial publication in Al-Qadr: Journal of Qur’anic Science (AQS).

License Terms
