About the Journal

Al-Muhafidz: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing high-quality research in the fields of Qur’anic studies, tafsir, and related Islamic scholarship. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for classical, modern, and contemporary studies that examine the relationship between the Qur’anic text, exegetical traditions, and the lived experiences of Muslim communities in various social, cultural, educational, and intellectual contexts. The journal is published biannually in February and August, and is officially registered with P-ISSN 3062-6919 and E-ISSN 2807-6346. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process to ensure originality, relevance, academic quality, and scholarly contribution.
